Research and Interests

My research interests generally relate to HIV/AIDS. In particular, I am interested in mutation, drug resistance, fitness/mutation pressures, and pathogenesis. Many of these questions can be answered using molecular sequence data and phylogenetics. I am also interested in developing semi-parametric techniques for these data to infer realtionships between genotype and phenotype.
